Things, Things, and More Things.

Hi everyone.

Just a note to properly welcome you all on board the Farragut. I'm hoping that this is the start of something really awesome and from most of the writing I've seen from you all so far, I'm sure it will be.

Just a few quick notes on some site stuff. I managed to fix the display on the wiki (or Library Computer as I've called it) so there is now content in there. I'm going to try and be as thorough as possible with the reference material for the sim. All of the wee bits and bobs like starbases and personnel will go into a document so you can quickly glance at it if you need to remember any names and whatnot.

Elsewhere on the Library Computer there's a lot of things you might recognise and some you might not. There's a handy wee tool to help you get the right day for your stardates and a huge thanks to Kitty who has contributed some articles from an old sim which bring some of the planetary and race information up to around 2260.

I'm keen to push on with the mission and get "out there" into space as soon as possible and everyone's activity has been great so far. To our new arrivals, remember to post your sample posts as your 'introductory' posts if you haven't already!

The next step is for you guys to go out on your own in the assignments given out in the current JP and then I'll be starting one up over the next few days (probably Sunday- it's a busy end to the week for me) where we all meet back to discuss our findings. If anyone's unsure as to what they should be finding/doing then don't hesitate to drop me a line.
