Hello everyone.

We're having a bit of a slow month by our usual standards. I've started a post which is going to get us into the murky depths of our mission and if we can get working on that ASAP, that would be awesome. I know it's July and a lot of people are away sunning themselves on foreign beaches, but let's do what we can.

Onto awards for last month!

Commanding Officer's Merit Award: Duncan Harper
Crew's Choice Award: Rianna DiMarco
Outstanding Newcomer Award: Abigaël Sorensen
Farragut Post of the Month: "First Assignment" by Abigaël Sorensen

Cheers everyone!

Mike

Hey everyone,

Please join me in extending an incredibly warm welcome to Ensign Abigaël Sorensen. Our new Engineer's Mate is fresh out of the Academy and Lieutenant DiMarco is going to be taking her under her wing and teaching her all the tricks of the trade to keep the Farragut afloat.

Since we're only a few In Character days into the mission, we'll be assuming that Ensign Sorensen has been with us since we left Cestus III.

Welcome aboard, Ensign and I hope you enjoy your time aboard the Farragut.

Cheers,

Mike

Hey everyone,

Just a really quick line to congratulate you all. We won the Gold Sim of the Month award for April! We obviously pushed really hard through the first mission and we're taking things a bit easier now but I'm so pleased that in our first month we won what I see as a fairly prestigious award.

Another fairly prestigious award is the fleet wide Post of the Month which I'm really chuffed to say that Kitty and Aaron have won for their nominated post 'Shortage of Women of Ill-Repute (AKA It's Really Good Fruit Salad)'.

I'm made up and delighted.

Thank you to you all for being absolutely bloody excellent.

CPO Frederick Nau spotted Commander Kennedy in the corridor nearest the Officer's Mess, and ran up to her. "Commander, I've heard that this young person named 'Lady Sare' from Bellatrix has been brought on board, and is to stay. What's the story, if I may ask?"
