| Personal History | Born January 1st 2258 to Andrew and Karla Sorensen in the small swedish town of Strömstad. Being born the only girl in a house filled with boys, she could have become a regular tomboy. She instead managed to strike something of a balance. She would rough it out with the boys, and then convince most of them to enjoy tea time with her. Her childhood was mostly uneventful. Most of her family (close and extended) were teachers or professors of some kind, as many of her brothers became. But she was drawn to the stars from an early age. Even when at sea, she’d spend more time looking up, than down. Incidentally, this made her a decent navigator. Inspired by her aunt Emmaleigh, she took the decision to join starfleet at 16. At first unsure of what exactly she wanted to do, everything seemingly fell into place on their own. At 20, she graduated with a major in engineering, a minor in stellar cartography, and an unshakable drive to spend the rest of her life in space. |
