Acute Cellular Breakdown Acute cellular breakdown is a medical condition found in Arkorians that is caused mainly by dehydration. Arkonians are particularly susceptible to this because of their endocrine system, which is extremely sensitive to temperature changes.

Anaprolean Fever High grade fever that weakened the internal organs in Xindi.

Anchilles Fever A highly contagious and virulent disease, capable of causing deaths numbering in the millions. The vaccine for the fever is extremely rare, and not able to be readily synthesized.
Treatment: Unknown

Andorian Shingles A disease native to Andorians, but likely to be contracted by other species. Among its symptoms are bleeding in the eyeballs.

Andronesian Encephalitis Highly contagious though rarely life threatening airborne disease. Caused uncomfortable side effects.

Anteretrograde Amnesia Anterograde amnesia is a medical condition which prevents the sufferer storing new memories. Those afflicted with the condition can remember events up to the onset of the amnesia, but nothing after it. Any new events are not laid down in long-term memory, and information given to the sufferer will not be remembered after a short time. Can be spread by interspatial parasites.

Bendii syndrome A rare, usually fatal disease of Vulcan's over the age of 200. Usually symptoms include emotional outbursts which are telepathically passed on to others. To confirm the disease is indeed Bendii syndrome, a culture must be grown from the metathalmus.
Treatment: Stokaline

Clarke's Syndrome A progressive, degenerative disorder of the Human brain. Symptoms include hallucinations and (in the terminal stage) severe pain. The disorder is ultimately fatal until late in the 22nd century.

Corellium Fever High fever combined with delirium.

Danray's Disease Incurable disease that attacks the brain and nervous system.
Treatment: Unknown

Iresine Syndrome A medical condition first diagnosed in the 23rd century, in which victims fall into a coma. A very rare neurological disorder, it is characterized by electropathic residue and decreased histamine count.

Iverson's Disease A chronic and progressive muscular disorder that affects Humans. It causes fatal degeneration of motor skills, but does not impair mental faculties. There are no cases of remission.
Treatment: Unknown

Kamaraazite Flu Chronic flu that causes violent nasal tissue distress.
Treatment: No known cure

Klingon Augment Virus The Klingon augment virus was a modified form of Levodian flu that threatened to wipe out the Klingon race in the mid-22nd century. It was inadvertently created by Klingon researchers who were attempting to bio-engineer enhanced warriors using DNA from genetically-modified human embryos left over from Earth's Eugenics Wars. Effected klingons were exterminated by the klingon high council. A method was created that stabilized the process in the early stages - after the cranial ridges dissolved and some minor neural re-ordering had occurred (which caused personality changes), but before the enhanced augment abilities and fatal neural pathway breakdown. Because afflicted Klingons' DNA had been altered by the virus, these traits were passed onto their descendants.

Levodian Flu Virus with a 29 hour life cycle.

Lungworm Parasite infesting the soft tissue of the lungs.

Omega IV Virus An illness from Omega IV, left over from a bacteriological war conducted on the planet long ago. The virus inhabited every aspect of the planet's biosphere. Highly contagious virus that separates hydrogen from organic compounds, quickly reducing a body to white powder.
Treatment: Long term exposure on Omega IV

Orellius infection Specific type of insect infection on certain M-class worlds. Symptoms include swelling and fever.
Treatment: Antihistamine

Pa'nar Syndrome Pa'nar Syndrome is a Vulcan neural disease that results in the degradation of the synaptic pathways. It also affects the endocrine and immune systems. It is caused by a disruption of neuroelectric impulses during Vulcan mind melds performed by a Vulcan who has been improperly trained. The disease and its cure were known in Surak's time, but by the 22nd century the knowledge of the cure had been lost. In that time, melding was considered an "unnatural" practice. As a result, those afflicted with Pa'nar Syndrome were ostracized from Vulcan society.
Treatmet: It can be cured by a meld performed by an experienced melder.

Phase Pulse Infection A phase pulse infection was a potentially fatal condition in Andorians, the result of being shot with a phase-modulated energy weapon set to a high level.

Plasma Plague Quickly mutating, deadly virus family that was discovered in the early 2260s.
Treatment: Unknown

Polycocyx Astris Microbe found in interstellar dust. Can lie dormant in ice for hundreds of years before infecting a host.

Rigelian Fever Deadly disease resembling the bubonic plague.
Treatment: Ryetalyn

Rop'ngor Klingon childhood disease similar to the measles.

Symbalene Blood Burn Symbalene blood burn was a deadly and extremely contagious disease that could kill a Human in a few minutes. The pathogen caused the vascular lining to literally boil away. Initial symptoms included a critical rise in body temperature and blood pressure, followed by extreme pain in the extremities, rupture of capillaries, and death. Extraordinarily contagious and capable of acting across mass populations.
Treatment: Lectrazine

Synthococcus Novae Lethal bacillus strain.

Taggart's Syndrome Taggart's Syndrome was a neurological disorder which afflicted Humans. The disorder was known to usually cause death by the age of twenty.
Treatment: Rigelian gene therapy
Terothka Virus Highly-contagious disease unique to Romulan physiology. While various strains exist, the symptoms are similar - the most unpleasant of which are considered to be stomach cramps and a debilitating rash.

Terellian Plague Viral disease that begins with a headache then deteriorates into excruciating pain.
Treatment: Genericillian, Tryptophan

Thymic Sclerosis Denobulan non-fatal disease that effects the endocrine and immune system.

Transporter Psychosis A breakdown of neurochemical molecules that occur during transport. Last known case occurred in 2319.

Transwarp Evolutionary Syndrome Mutations in DNA caused by travel above warp 10.
Treatment: Antiproton radiation treatment

Tsiolkovsky Infection Waterborne viral infection that occurs near huge gravitational shifts. Infection take away carbon from the body and reduces inhibitions making the victim appear intoxicated.

Urodelean Flu Mild affliction with symptoms that include an imbalance in the k-3 cell count increased intravascular pressure and heightened electrophoratic activity. Most humans have a natural immunity. Treatment: No known treatment.

Xenopolycythemia Abnormal proliferation of red blood cells causing weakness, fatigue, enlarged spleen and extreme pain. Treatment: Unknown
