Just as the group had split up, some sampling dishes, others watching the peacock displays of local dancing, the little man, Ariak of Bellatrix once again appeared at Captain Rackham's side. "I wonder if you and your group might come and meet the reason for our prosperity, Captain. Our most revered lady, Sare."

Rackham pressed a small switch on his personal communicator which was clipped to his belt, and sent a small rumbling vibration signal through to the other members of the away team. It was a subtle note to form back on the Captain, a nice touch added a few years previously to avoid diplomatic incidents caused by wandering crewmen.

Daisy was getting a bit overwhelmed by the gentlemen of the Bellatrix when she felt the vibration from her communicator against her waist. "Excuse me." As she untangled herself from the group and made her way over to Rackham.

Carver was rather enjoying chatting with one of the women servers. The Bellatrixians had an interesting look to them, one that William was sure to admire. He wasn't sure how their mating rituals worked, but as a doctor and a scientist, he thought it might be appropriate to find out. But before he had a chance to make much headway, he felt the buzz of his communicator on his hip. He eyes slipped shut as he silently lamented the infernal device. He excused himself and shifted back into a different diplomatic role as he rejoined the captain.

"We will have to take a carriage to the Temple of Rybensauky, it is a few tees away from here." He motioned toward the most exceptionally ornate carriage ever built. It was jet black and inlaid with grand gold details which led the eye through the front where four bedazzled and strange looking horses - were they even horses? - stood. It was quite a sight to behold, Rackham thought.

Daisy took in the carriage with even more delight. The Domestic animals looked grand in their plumage and traces adding the finishing touches. Smile widen at seeing the luxurious interior. She gracefully climbed into the carriage and took her seat as if she was a royal lady of worth, instead of a lowly Ensign on a starship. Even with occasional bumps and jostles of the carriage, This was worth being part of the Away Team. She paid more attention to the scenery that passed by at the stately pace they traveled. It gave her time to study the people, seeing the good and bad they traveled through the city.

Doctor Carver was already over his missed opportunity with the server, and instead spent the journey gazing out at the city. While much of the city did reflect the more advanced level of technology, there was still a lot of the more classical architecture. The Bellatrixians clearly loved their traditions.

"There it is." Ariak said proudly as if any of the passengers in the carriage could miss it. Looming high into the air, several storeys above any other building in its locale was the Temple of Rybensauky. Decked out in bright lights which caught and accentuated every glinting, gold-laid detail it looked like a jewel, shining among simple stones.

The dark streets that were poorly lit up, suddenly brightened as Ariak spoke. Daisy looked towards the source of all the lights. Seeing the grandiose building lit up and sparkling gold light being reflected off it, took her breath away. "Wow," She spoke softly. "Who lives there?"

"My lady... our lady Sare. Most call her the Belle of Bellatrix. In reality, she is the sole reason we survive on the edge of the Triangle." Ariak said distantly, still clearly awestruck by the sight of the magnificent palace - even after what Rackham guessed must be years.

Daisy smiled warmly at Ariak. "She must be very rich to afford such a palace." Taking in more detail as her eyes became adjusted to the brightness. "Will we be able to meet Belle of Bellatrix?" Turning her full attention on Ariak. Eyes wide and a soft smile that could mean anything. "It would be such a grand honor!" She softly exclaimed.

Suddenly Will was less interested in the honor of meeting this Belle of Bellatrix. "If you don't mind me asking, Ariak, how is Lady Sare the reason you survive on the edge of the Triangle?"

"You are aware of the disruptions in this region? You come in a spaceship." Ariak seemed less worldly than he had previously. "We may not have the fastest ships in the galaxy but we've lost enough to the Great Beyond to know that something is wrong. Lady Sare keeps us from being affected by its effects."

"We're aware of the spatial anomalies in this region," Carver continued. "But how does Lady Sare protect you, exactly? That's what I'm curious about."

"All will be revealed, Doctor." Ariak replied with a wizened smile. "All will be revealed."
