The Voice Was Booming

Mission:
The Belle of Bellatrix
Location: Temple of Rybensauky
Timeline: 2278.54 1330hrs [Ship Time]
As they passed toward the large sofa, the officers were suddenly aware of the sheer number of people in the room, most of whom had been obscured by the floating fabrics. Many of them were armed -guards presumably - but others seemed to be handmaidens, waiting on the girl.
They approached and Ariak dropped to his knees in front of her. "Lady Sare, our most glorious oracle. These are the envoys from the Federation, you wished to meet with them."
Lady Sare, despite her small stature, commanded the room around her and as she opened her mouth to speak, her cohorts waiting in the wings all stepped forward as if to hear her voice more clearly. When the words eventually came out, it was clear to Rackham that they needn't have.
The voice was booming and seemed ethereal. "Welcome to Bellatrix, my friends." She began. "They tell me that you have been enjoying our hospitality. This pleases me greatly."
Daisy smiled giving a nod and a quick curtsy. She looked closely at Lady Sare while seemingly looking pleasant. She wondered how such a small whisp of a girl could speak so loudly without effort as if there was an external source that amplified her voice when she spoke.
Carver was taken aback by the strength of the girl's voice. She certainly had an air of authority about her, even if he didn't understand why. He was still puzzled by how she could impact the space around Bellatrix, but since they were guests, he knew that it was best not to ask, at least right away. He only offered a shallow bow, and left the introductions to his commanding officer.
"Lady Sare," Captain Rackham began, trying to make his voice sound more commanding than it was, "I am Captain Aidan Rackham of the USS Farragut. These are my officers - Doctor William Carver, Lieutenant Duncan Harper, and Ensign Daisy Skie-Cloud."
Lady Sare looked upon the group and smiled broadly at which Ariak seemed to bristle slightly. "It is a pleasure to meet you all." She said with that ethereal voice. "I have arranged for a banquet to be thrown in your honour this evening. Please go out into the city and meet our people, share your ideas and experience our culture."
"My Lady." Ariak began, clearly riled by something she had said. "Do you not think it wise for the Captain and his team to remain within the temple until the appointed time?"
Rackham turned and looked surprised more at the notion of another banquet rather than the disagreement between the demigod and her... was he an advisor?
"No. They will go and experience the city and return here in five hours where they will experience the finest of our hospitality." Sare's tone seemed more forceful than before. "That is my will."
"Looks like we're going for a walk then." Rackham said quietly.
